Specialist accounting, your kind of business.
16 audience playbooks, 20 industry-specific specialisms and 5 deeper specialist pages. Pick the closest match, we already know your numbers before the first call ends.

Most firms sell one service and hope it fits. We keep a separate playbook per business type, because the question a limited company director asks is not the one a sole trader asks. A director wants the salary and dividend split settled before the year end. A sole trader wants to know which costs are allowable and when the bill lands. A maker running an Etsy shop wants listing fees, postage and overseas orders recorded properly, so the VAT threshold test is right the first time it is run.
Some sectors need more than a generalist because the rules themselves are different. Travel agents and tour operators account for VAT on their margin under the Tour Operators Margin Scheme rather than on the full price of the trip. Interior design practices have to separate a genuine disbursement from a marked-up recharge before the invoice goes out, and the VAT treatment follows that distinction. Hotels, restaurants and cafes run tronc, tips and more than one VAT rate through the same till. Those are the details each sector page starts from, rather than ending with.
Every page below sets out what we handle for that business, how the work is structured and who you would be dealing with. Fees are fixed and published in full on our fixed monthly plans, and if you would rather approach it by task than by sector, the full services index lists all of them.
